What’s included in the Certificate in Sound Therapy Program?

This training program, is one of the most comprehensive sound therapy training programs in the world.  We integrate live workshops and tele-seminars with published on-line resources, including videos, audios, eBooks and Workbooks, together with personal coaching to keep you focused on completing the Program successfully.

This format suits most active people….you get a mixture of structured, hands-on, experiential workshop learning plus access to a more flexible on-line learning resource which you can study and practice in the comfort of your own home.

The Program includes:

•   Workshop intensive training in sound therapy for working both 1-2-1 with clients and in groups
•   On-line, home study course comprising 12 Modules each containing an eBook, a workbook plus audio and / or video
•   12 tele-seminars, involving a talk by Tony Nec with slides plus Q & A, each lasting 1 – 1.5 hours, covering all the modules
•   A free 30 minute coaching session with Tony Nec to help you to get the most from this training
•   Coaching tips by email to ensure you stay on track with the Program
•   An assessment of your written exam which you take after you’ve finished the 12 Modules
•   A Certificate in Sound Therapy (C.ST), assuming you pass the exam

What’s the time commitment?

Most people take about 6 months to complete this program if they put in 3 – 6 hours a fortnight of study and practice.  You can of course go faster or slower than this.

To qualify for the Certificate and to be able to move onto the Diploma level, you need to submit your exam within 12 months of joining the program.

What’s covered in the 12 Modules?

Module 1 – What is Sound Therapy and how does it work?
This module provides detailed information about the science and art of sound therapy.

Module 2 – Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls
As with all the Modules, you’ll learn about and experience, through various practical exercises, how to effectively work with these instruments for your personal transformation and for clients.

Module 3 – Tibetan Singing Bowls

Module 4 – Balinese/Tibetan Bells, Tingsha & Space Clearing

Module 5 – Rhythm and grounding tools

Module 6 – Voice Therapy with Tones and Mantras

Module 7 – Anatomy and physiology, quantum physics and the biology of belief

Module 8 – Specialist Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls

Module 9 – Shamanic Drumming theory and practices

Module 10 – Mantra Therapy – going deeper

Module 11 - How to give a harmonic sound therapy treatment

Module 12 – Building a Successful Therapeutic Sound Therapy Practice

 You’ll learn :

 •  the tried and tested methods to build a highly successful Sound Therapy practice
•  how to successfully integrate therapeutic sound into any existing therapy practice
•  the key codes to success in building a client list and delivering a top quality service

At the end of the course, you’ll submit a short written exam based on the exercises that you’ll already have done as you’ve gone along with the Modules.  

Assuming you pass the exam, you’ll get a Certificate in Sound Therapy (C.ST), qualifying you to practice with your friends and family and the general public with insurance as Student Practitioner.

You’ll receive a professional-looking Certificate through the post that you’ll be able to proudly display on your wall….

At this point, you are also eligible to join the next level of our Program: the Diploma in Sound Therapy (D.ST), which gives you the full qualification to practice as a professional sound therapist.

The start date for the next series of 12 live tele-seminars for the Certificate program is Tuesday 4th June 2013 8pm GMT.
There will be a live tele-seminar once every two weeks at the same time.  These can be accessed from anywhere in the world via the internet and by phone or Skype.

The venue in Ireland is the Kevin Barry Room, National Concert Hall, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2.

Based in Dublin’s City Centre, the National Concert Hall, is rated by performing artists as one of the finest concert halls in Europe, and boasts a thrilling line up of some of the world’s best performers covering a wide range of musical genres.  It is also used for teaching, talks and workshops, so it provides a wonderful creative space for our sound healing training.  The National Concert Hall is adjacent to Iveagh Gardens and close to St Stephen’s Green, so you’ll be able to step out into some beautiful green spaces during the breaks….

The venue in Glastonbury is the Assembly Rooms, High Street, Glastonbury, BA6 9DU

It is located close to the famous Glastonbury Tor, Chalice Well Gardens and the Abbey.

The start date for the next series of 12 live teleseminars for the Certificate program is Tuesday 5th February 2013 8pm GMT.

There will be a live teleseminar once every two weeks at the same time.  These can be accessed from anywhere in the world via the internet and by phone or sykpe.
