What does it take to develop and run a successful sound therapy practice, either on its own, or as part of an integrated holistic health-care practice?
Why would we want to do this?
If you’ve had enough of working in a dead-end job, struggling with debt, feeling anxious or stressed, and you’re looking to earn a healthy income doing work you love helping others, then building a sound therapy business is for you.
Or, if you already practice one or more complimentary medicines and you are looking for an extra income stream, then adding a proven health care system, like sound therapy, makes good business sense.
A sound therapy business gives you the opportunity to:
- Start a new career or enhance an existing one with new skills
- Create a home-run business working hours that suit you
- Earn a healthy income doing work you love
- Take control of your life
- Work into and through retirement if you wish
- Feel fulfilled, valued and rewarded
- Make a difference in the lives of others
- Learn effective techniques to deal creatively with a wide range of health challenges
This is the first in a series of posts from Tony Nec, the Principla of the Colour of Sound Institute that provide the key codes to creating a sound therapy business that has the potential for you to earn $2,000 – $5,000 a month and even more, over time. It’s not a ‘get-rich-quick’ scheme, but if you follow the suggestions in these posts you will be on your way within 90 days to steadily build a business and realise your dreams for health, wealth and happiness.
At this point I would like to tell you a little more about myself, not to brag, but so you can understand where the suggestions in this Report are coming from. I started learning and practicing complimentary medicine in 1985 and have run a successful practice after getting my first professional qualification – a Diploma in Shiatsu and Oriental Medicine in 1991. I continued to learn and develop my knowledge and skills, first as a Coach, based on Neuro Linguistic Programming, and then as a Sound Therapist.
Alongside all that, I’ve been very entrepreneurial, setting up and running a number of other businesses, both for profit and not-for-profit in the sustainable energy sector, because I’m passionate about the quality of the environment and deeply concerned about the impacts of climate change on humans and all of life. One of these companies grew over a few years from zero to having annual sales of $10 million, with 50 people on the pay-roll.
I have also coached other complimentary health practitioners to be highly successful in their fields.
Oh yes, I also have a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Edinburgh University. I have done lots of other business trainings, and have had a coach and mentor myself at key stages in my career.
